Three
generations of the Warner family are active in
the Concord community. Business owners, sponsors
for sports teams, active in local schools, the
family is solidly part of the community.
Ray
has lived in the Concord area since 1964 and graduated
from Clayton Valley High School in 1977. Even
before graduation, at 16 years old, Ray started
working on automatic transmissions. SInce then
he has developed expertise in all areas of the
business, having performed every task related
to an automatic transmission shop's operation.
Since
first opening his own shop in 1984, Ray has focused
on customer service. Some might say he is compulsive
about offering every service detail possible.
Under Ray's direction, and unlike most independent
repair facilities, Diablo Transmissions offers
shuttle service to and from the shop, financing
when needed, extended warranties, and an exclusive
line of factory rebuilt trnasmissions, all in
addition to the onsite repairs traditionally done
by automatic transmission shops.
Ray's
writing in GEARS Magazine has won him a Silver
Medal from International Automotive Media Awards
for a series of articles on transmission repair.
Speaking
engagements, daily retail business, a wholesale
transmission distribution, teaching for ESi Automotive
Business Consultants, father, husband (whew!),
Ray is a little busy. Yet, when a customer needs
something in a hurry, Ray is apt to be the one
to make it happen. His dedication to service is
impressive! |
